Alchemic Design: Transforming Materials

Alchemic Design:

50 GOLBORNE is delighted to announce the international design exhibition, Alchemic Design: Transforming Materials from December 1st 2015 to February 10th 2016 which features international art and design works by Ardmore Ceramics (South Africa), Aldo Bakker (The Netherlands), Alexandra Singer-Biader and Sofia Bennani alias Straw-k ( Morroco-UK), Janette Laverriere (France), Tomas Libertiny (The Netherlands), Geraldine Lopez (France) and Studio Job (The Netherlands). This exhibition brings into 50 GOLBORNE the 12 years experience of Perimeter Projects Paris and its team in international authorship and conceptual design.

S-k'yline and Panda PT were exhibited.

From 8th of January to 3rd of February 2016, the Straw-k'Art is exhibited at the Abigail Ogilvy Gallery in the SoWa art district of Boston, USA. Model K, LeeLoo, Model N, StrawMaé, Panda BT & OT, Mini and Super Mini pandas are exhibited in this great space. This is a duo show shared with Sara Galkin.

The Africa Design Days were invited for the event Now le Off! during Paris Design Week at the famous Cité de la Mode et du Design in Paris from September 5 to 12, 2015. Gathering designer like Cheick Diallo, Hicham Lahlou, fashion designers like Ghizlane El Braimi, Emmanuel Ouoba, Sakina M'Sa, the Africa Design Days platform was a mix of colors, materials and savoir-faire situated between recycling and innovation. The scenography was entirely made of recycled wood pallets. This volunteer project was made possible thanks to Hicham Lahlou and ONA fundation.

The ARTERNATIVE PLAYGROUND is an International art fair which provides observations by a wide range of artists on what it is to be avant-guard today.

A lot of narratives on 19th century art movements from modernism to altermodernism are from an American or European perspective. The PLASTICINE ART FACTORY have selected artists beyond these borders to share reflections on what it is to be a contemporary artist in our current political and economic context.

Selected works from North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East, and Australia are curated together to re-question are status quo from a fresh panoramic viewpoint.

The exhibition took place at the Rag Factory in Shoreditch, London on September 3rd to 6th, 2015. Panda PT (Pink & Transparent), Model K and 2 Mini Pandas were exhibited for this event.

The Straw-k'Art is exhibited for the first time in Paris from May 4th to May 17th 2015  at the Modus Art Gallery, 23 rue des Tournelles in the famous artsy neighbourhood : the Marais. New pieces are displayed : the S-k'yline, StrawMaé, Model K, Model N and a bigger LeeLoo. Also new Panda colors are shown for the first time in the space and Panda PW (Pink & White) is exhibited on Place des Vosges in the Medicis Gallery.
